Lulu Guinness Bags in the Press!!!!

The Lulu Guinness bags produced for Sainsbury's have certainly hit the press over the last few weeks featuring in magazines such as Vogue and Cosmopolitan and in the Mail on Sunday and the Observer.

The bags seem to be flying out of the stores and will soon be sold out so get yours soon.
Don't forget for every bag sold for £5.00, Sainsbury's will donate £1.50 to Comic Relief.

Jutexpo work with Edinburgh College of Art

There are lots of different designs to suit everyones taste and they can be found in most Sainsbury's stores in the Wine/Gift aisles.

Leeds Hospital Appeal

 

In some promotional work through Leeds Asda Stores we recently sold these cute Junior Jute Bags to raise money for Leeds Childrens hospital and help raise awareness of the great work they do.

Sainsbury's Winter Bags

Sainsbury's have joined forces with the Woodland Trust to produce an eye catching bag sold through their stores now. A donation of £1.00 per bag sold will be given to the Woodland Trust to help plant a million trees across every region of the UK.

A cause close to our hearts at Jutexpo, we have been invovlved in donating some bags for Leeds Childrens Ward for the Transplant Games UK.

Lessons from the Welsh Bag Levy:

The 'ERIC' group (Environmental Regulation and Information Centre) have reported on the lessons learnt from the Welsh levy on carrier bags with some interesting debate on the environmental impact of using paper bags.  It is noted by ERIC that the Welsh Government has further considered the problems associated with paper bags with the quote below:  

"Extending the charge to also include paper means that the Welsh Government has chosen forward thinking by not merely trying to reduce plastic bag use but tackle the environmental issues raised by paper bags as well".
